I just gave an introduction to Mallard and writing GNOME user documentation at GNOME.Asia conference. FYI, the slides are available at http://people.gnome.org/~aklapper/gnome-asia2012/Contributing_To-Gnome_Documentation.pdf
Dropping the comments and questions at the end: * jimmac asked if there are plans to allow adding user comments to hosted documentation, like the "add a note" function in the PHP documentation. I am not aware of any plans and mentioned on a related note the "Was this page helpful? [Yes] [No]" function on support.mozilla.org which gets analyzed to identify documentation that needs updating. * aday mentioned that GNOME does not have a user forum (this is distribution area) as GNOME is not an end-user product [yet?] but shipped via distributions, which could be used as one feedback channel for documentation. andre -- mailto:[email protected] | failed http://blogs.gnome.org/aklapper _______________________________________________ gnome-doc-list mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-doc-list
