Hi Samruda, 1)Get on the IRC - we are on #docs on GIMPNET. I'd suggest installing and using XChat or an IRC web client. (I just tried this - http://en.irc2go.com/webchat/?net=GIMPnet with the Chat room as "docs"(Without the #) and you can use any nickname.
2)Get an account on GNOME Bugzilla - and start hunting for documentation bugs in the application of your choice, which I think is Gedit in this case? Look through these articles written by Sindhu, one of the interns in the OPW programme: http://sindhus.bitbucket.org/pages/before-you-approach-your-mentor-documentation.html http://sindhus.bitbucket.org//pages/suggested-workflow-for-writing-help.html If it gets a little overwhelming, come on the IRC after steps 1 and 2, and one of us will help you. Good luck! Warmly, Aruna _______________________________________________ gnome-doc-list mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-doc-list
