Sure, could easily drop "Two days ago" and the like, these are just the icing on the cake. The minimum plan to implement this for 3.12 would need 1 regular string: "Last checked: %s", and 3 time format strings: "%R", "%l:%M %p", "%e %B %Y" Would it make sense to only mark "Last checked: %s" for translation and leave the time format strings untranslated? I am not sure how much value there is for translating the time format stuff anyway. Does that sound better? Could leave it for 3.14 as well if it sounds like too much change in the last minute.
