Guntupalli suggestion is very good, but if one wants to have access to CVS files but doesn't want to play with cvs command or even just cannot run it on his/her machine (for a number of reasons) he/she can use ViewCVS (http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/). It's pretty useful if you just want to take a brief look at the file and have a web browser available.
