The l10n status pages show the HEAD branch for gnome-system-tools. but the release for Gnome 2.16 will be made from the gnome-2-14 branch [1]. There have been some issues around external dependencies; that's why the old branch is used. The jhbuild moduleset already points to the gnome-2-14 branch, so most people smoketesting the upcoming release use this branch as well.
What needs to be done?
1. The status pages should be updated to use the gnome-2-14 branch for
gnome-system-tools.
2. Translators should translate the gnome-2-14 branch's LANG.po files and
not the ones from HEAD.
