What is the correct way to notify the translation team
that a manual might not be worth them working on?
(for example,
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=348935 )

Or is it considered that an out of date manual
translation is better than none at all?

I've left BIG comments in DocBook source for some (eg
gnome feedback docs -- and in this case it's not only
out of date but totally obsolete) but since then I've
seen translation activity in the changelog, so it
doesn't seem to have been noticed.

If information on how to do this is already in the GDP
handbook, just hit me over the head with it... ;)
