Hi.

I've recently submitted a patch to Meld that makes
some very small changes to UI text: it fixes the
punctuation for a few strings in the preferences
dialog.

The maintainer and myself are a bit unsure how to
proceed with this from the point of view of
translation.
The patch changes about half a dozen strings, and the
maintainer is concerned about breaking translations.

As far as I understand it, this is what the fuzzy
label in translations is for, but I don't know enough
about how it works.

Could someone advise on what is the most efficient and
correct way to go about this?

The bug, patch, and discussion between me & the
maintainer are here: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=358945
