Hello, My Name is Neskie Manuel. I would like to start a new team to translate GNOME into Secwepemctsin, an Indigenous language of Western Canada. I will be the coordinator for this project.
Coordinator: Neskie Manuel e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing-list: not yet webpage: not yet The 639-3 ISO code is shs for Secwepemctsin (Shuwap). http://www.ethnologue.com/show_language.asp?code=shs I've signed up for a project on Savannah as suggested on the GTP page and will set up a mailing list and project page. I've started with translating Rhythmbox, since that's the src code I have. I would like to test this out. At http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gtp/l10n-guide/ it says the locale of my language needs to exist before I can use the translation, but it doesn't say how to do it. So my questions is how do I create a new non-existing locale for my computer I'm running Ubuntu 6.10? Thanks -Neskie _______________________________________________ gnome-i18n mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n
