By the way, you may find it useful to set up to view another (non-English)
language (like French) when you translate. Follow directions on this page:
https://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Translation_Team/Pootle_Alternative_Language
If the other language PO file is on our server, you'll see it.

First, create an account on our Pootle server. It's a simple set up.
Go to

Input the following information to create a new account:
Username:

Wait for e-mail confirmation of your account and click the link in the e-mail

Then use the account you created to login to Pootle

There were two small PO files in the Accessibility module:
GNOME-mousetweaks
GNOME-caribou
and I wasn't sure which you wanted, so I set them both up in the Kreyol project.

You can go to the listing of all the Kreyol project PO files on Pootle at any
time:

or by clicking on Haitian (Krèyol ayisyen) in our language list from the main
page:

When you are done translating your GNOME PO project, you can download the PO
file a zip to send to the GNOME mailing list.

your help?
Thanks for your cooperation,

Dear Pierre,
I'm so glad ot see a Kreyol team starting for Gnome. As mentioned below, the
"'price" for entering is a completed PO file. If you need help selecting a
file or even if you might be interested in having that file hosted online on a
Pootle server, I could help you.
I run the Poolte server for the FOSS educational software from Sugar Labs (used
in Haiti on OLPC XO laptops) and wehave a Haitian Kreyol projectset up already.
https://translate.sugarlabs.org/ht/
I could easily host a Gnome file for you while you work on it. Sugar Labs is
built with many of Gnome's components and we'd love to help out hte upstream
in one of our languages of interest. Please let me know if I can help.

Hi Pierre Michel,
We are always pleased to host new languages for GNOME, welcome !
Generally, I ask for a first translated po file to initiate a new language.
May I ask you to browse https://l10n.gnome.org/ and choose a (not too big)
module to translate, then send the translated po file to me directly?
I'll then do the necessary work to add the language/team for your language.
Happy translating!
Claude
