~04:02 machine suddenly falls over, nothing obvious in the logs; machine
was responsive to pings and was accepting connections on ssh, though
not processing logins. So, it was probably an out of memory condition.
~04:40 Olav mails me
~06:40 Ross calls me
~10:30 I get in touch with someone and get the machine rebooted; comes
up fine no obvious problems.
Sorry for the slow response time here; was complicated by a power outage
in my neighborhood this morning.
