sysadmin | Subversion | Ver: unspecified
Summary: Should reject commits from the future
Product: sysadmin
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: Subversion
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
QAContact: [email protected]
GNOME version: Unspecified
GNOME milestone: Unspecified
If you look at http://git.gnome.org/cgit/gtk+ right now it shows commits from
the future
-97 min. Updated Basque languagemaster Inaki Larranaga Murgoitio
1 -33/+1755
63 min. Updated Galician translation Antón Méixome 2 -3974/+2986
-28 min. Updated Basque language Inaki Larranaga Murgoitio 1
-17/+31
-27 min. Updated Basque language Inaki Larranaga Murgoitio 1
-1991/+1922
This is most likely because the system used to make the commit is
misconfigured. We should reject such commits if they are more than, say, five
minutes in the future. Ideally with a helpful error message.
(Assigning to the Subversion component for now, we should probably have a git
component...)
