- Multiple GNU/Linux distributions - SQL databases - Python - PHP - LDAP === The above list was written by me a couple of years ago when we first were considering hiring someone in a sysadmin role. Are there other things that should be on the list that we think someone couldn't pick up quickly? Puppet? Git?
