Great News! Raymond Lu has managed to find a fix for the command-line mailman list moderation tool, listadmin. I just spent the last two hours testing it against all of our lists and it now works as expected. Please see Bugzilla [1] for more information.
There are a few things to note that I thought I'd share with the group: There is a small number of lists that don't seem to have *ever* been moderated. 1500+ emails in the queue. I've made a list of these and I'm going to try and contact the current moderators. Hopefully we can get some additional volunteers to help moderate those lists. As I went through each list queue I approved a few things here and there but mostly I discarded the mail. Anything with a queue of over 100 and I globally-discarded. I plan to write up a blog post with instructions on how to use and configure listadmin. Hopefully this'll make life easier for all list moderators in the future. If anyone asks about old or surprise emails being approved, or anything else "odd" about the mailing lists, it is likely due to my work this afternoon. Any other questions, let me know.
