I'd like to see investigations how complex it would be to set up global IRC
channel logging and pasting logs on a website (webspace restrictions?).
While it will not solve *missing* communication, it might make reasons for
decisions taken on IRC (synchronous communication that you cannot take part in
if you are not online and in that timezone) more transparent afterwards,
compared to e.g. mailing lists (asynchronous communication that you can read
and respond to at any time).
