Maybe it could be tied to foundation membership somehow? Like if you are
foundation membership AND a git account you will be able to have public git
repositories?
That would be a great way to reduce the "move to github" meme and to be able to
wait some more until someone comes up with a gitorious self-hosted instance
(could that be the next fundraising campaign for GNOME?)
