The first tarball that failed was 3.4.0 (last tarball was 3.3.92). At some
point my hacked version of ftpadmin wasn't necessary. It might have been 3.4.2
since that version doesn't have a .changes file. If could also be 3.7.1 which
was the version the ChangeLog was removed.
All the tarballs are in https://download.gnome.org/sources/simple-scan/
