I no longer receive e-mails after `ftpadmin install`.
In the *.doap files I'm listed as a maintainer. When I upload a tarball and
execute the `ftpadmin install` script, I used to receive an e-mail, but it's no
longer the case since the release of GNOME 3.28.0.
For some projects I re-send the e-mail to a mailing list to announce the new
version, so it was convenient to receive the e-mail (and it's anyway nice to
have a confirmation that the tarball has been uploaded correctly).
