Andrea Veri commented: Mails being relayed over to GMail are being sent over a private channel since a while already, no 'red lock' should be appearing anymore on any of the e-mails we handle for @gmail.com accounts. We actually force encryption against gmail.com and announce STARTTLS to any other client without enforcing it to avoid non-TLS aware clients to break.
