The point of moving it is so that the GNOME community can take its development 
over if for some reason the lib becomes unmaintained in a year. Can this be 
done from World? If yes, I think moving it there would be good enough. If no, 
then there is virtually no point in moving it at all.

tl;dr:
- Is GNOME available? If yes, let's move there;
- Else, will GNOME be available in a foreseable future? If yes, let's wait;
- Else, is World good enough? If yes, let's move there;
- Else, bummer.
