Hi all, I have been looking forward to a solution for the following question over half a year, so your help will be much appreciated. I feel that it can be done since SuSE has done it.
I have software installed in /opt with their desktop files and icons put into /opt/share/applications and /opt/share/pixmaps. How can I tell gnome to incorporate them i.e. add /opt/share/applications to the desktop file search path and /opt/share/pixmaps to the icon search path?
