Many folks like the qt interface for YaST better, even if they are smart enough to prefer Gnome and GTK for everything else (the software management screen is *much* less confusing for example).
If you have KDE installed also it is easy to switch YaST to qt by going [in YaST :)] to System | /etc/sysconfig Editor | yast2 | GUI and select qt in two places: WANTED_SHELL and WANTED-GUI. At least this will get rid of the error. -- N. B.
