I want a mouse gesture or click that is equivalent to a CTRL+ALT+ uparrow or downarrow.
This [change workspace?] is usually done on alternate WMs by using the mouse wheel over the desktop background. I don't know whether Gnome 3 allows this binding, but I'd be interested to find out as I'd want it myself before starting to use G3.
