Hi,

i am using gtk+2.24.30 on a slackware system and have an inconsistency issue to
solve.

It looks like several applications use the GtkFileChooserDialog when the task
is to open or save files, for example
firefox or telegram desktop. The problem is the inconsistency with the default
ordering of mixing folder with files,
the capital letter beginning entries first, then again, folder and files mixed
with the minor letter at the beginning.

This is compared to the kde Dolphin file chooser which is used by other
applications, for example dolphin, very unintuitive.

Is there a way to tell GtkFileChooser to sort, first the folders, case
insensitive, then the files, also case insensitive ?

I tried to find issue regarding docs about .gtkrc-2.0 resource file, but to no
success.

Thanks you very much for any advice to solve my issue.
