Hi, I've seen the discussion about many people struggling with building Gnome from cvs (using jhbuild). I'd like to point out that currently (tm) you have a good chance of doing a successful complete build from cvs. Machines [1] start successfully building entire Gnome builds again. This may, of course, change quickly. But chances are better if people keep filing bugs about build problems. And sometimes they get fixed within hours [2]. I encourage you to try again very soon.
