Hi I have seen that so many packages in their trunk version don't even compile in the last stable gnome version (that is 2.22 for my ArchLinux). So I would like to install the latest gnome version from the source code.
I have read how to compile the Gnome latest packages from source code [1] , but it looks like so old-fashioned (Gnome now is using SVN instead of CVS). I know how to use the SVN but I don't know anything about CVS (looks like too much complex than the SVN). There is an actualized version of this page with SVN instead of CVS ? Thanks in advance [1]http://www.gnome.org/~newren/tutorials/developing-with-gnome/html/ch04.html _______________________________________________ gnome-love mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-love
