Hi Bruno, Have you tried following the other steps on that page? Did you configure and install the eog-plugins package from svn? Did you try setting up the postr plugin? You need the eog-dev package and postr packages.. THEN make and install the eog-plugins source.
When you run ./autoconfigure.sh, pay attention to the messages - especially the "Configure Summary" at the end. I just followed the steps and got the postr plugin installed, so it *does* work, but it may require reading the output of the commands fairly carefully. :) On Sun, Oct 19, 2008 at 2:56 PM, Bruno Grasselli <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>wrote: > Hello Guys, > > I would like to try to make an eog plugin. > I have never made a gnome application yet, but I'd like to start to learn. > I found this website http://live.gnome.org/EyeOfGnome/Plugins > > I created the helloworld.eog-plugin and libhello.py files and saved into > /home/myname/.gnome2/eog/plugin directory. > But when I access eog -> preferences -> plugins, there is no plugins there. > > Anyone knows where I can find texts about this subject?
