Hello Everybody,

I am dealing with the design and implementation of an innovative user
interface to browse the file system in my MA thesis. Such implementations I
would create for an existing file manager, because I could use the existing
mechanisms that read the file information and the submenu and focus only on
the modern user interface. Designed to represent directories and files in a
similar way to a mind map and radial trees led to a better use of screen
space and better ergonomics for the user.
I would also like to implement animations to make a view more interesting.

Therefore I have a few questions. Is it any project in Gnome envirnioment
which I could use as a basis for my work and if I had achived success, I
Would integrated with it my views?

Could you tell me where Nautilus development goes?

Currently I'm programming in QT3 \ QT4 and I wonder if there are any
materials that could facilitate the migration to Gtk libraries?

 Thanks you for yours reply.

Regards,

Michał Kuchta
