I guess that it is because you are subscribed to the digests, rather
than individual mails, so the mailing list software removes the embedded
message, in a similar way to how it removes HTML parts. If you choose
the option to subscribe to individual mails, you should see the embedded
message.

It says "An embedded message was scrubbed". Hence we read the same
email, but you could blame your mail server for removing the attached
forwarded email which contained all the info.
