Just to extend it a bit more: Making the new platform available for Windows would be a project by itself. Although, it can be a major task which could require background in both, the GNOME platform and Windows platform (if there is anything to fix in the underlying libraries). There are several of them that have been cross-compiled already, but they have not been widely tested (or even tested, as far as I know), neither they have installers created. In short, it would be really appreciated if somebody could work on that.
