Hi! Thanks for your interest in GNOME and OPW! You came to the right place to learn about how to get involved. I'm not officially involved with OPW, but I follow along with what's happening in the project.
GCompris has been an OPW project at least twice in the past. Best thing is to hang out on IRC (https://wiki.gnome.org/GnomeIrcChannels) and get to know people. It would also help to contact the GCompris maintainer or Bruno Coudoin. Also, if you haven't yet read about the application process, that's a good thing to do: https://wiki.gnome.org/OutreachProgramForWomen#Application_Process To make a contribution you can follow the build gnome tutorial (https://wiki.gnome.org/GnomeLove/BuildGnome) and/or look for known bugs in GCompris (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=product%3A%22gcompris%22) -Hashem On 10/04/2013 02:10 PM, Manaswini Pandit wrote: > I am Manaswini Pandit.I want to take part in OPW and interested in > contributing to the project GCompris mentored by Bruno Coudoin. > Can anyone tell me whether this is an OPW project?
