Status in GNOME Split - File splitter for GNOME desktop: Fix Committed

Bug description:
File split failed to split 12 Gb backup file (files.tgz) using any algorithm on
Ubuntu 10.
I was attempting to break it into 3 Gb chunks.
Instead split program just made a full size copy of the file it was backing up
(with split extension tacked onto the name) and then abended with java null
pointer exception at the conclusion.
Very disappointing...
