Most GNOME servers are hosted at Red Hat. They do not support IPv6. Timeframe of supporting that the previous time I asked was unknown. IPv6 could be achieved still via a tunnel, but that would just introduce complications (security unknown, network routing unknown, reliability unknown, higher maintenance).
