Yes, i tried only username and also email with (hopefully right)
password - nothing works, just get refresh page without any error...

but i had to add: i remember this from years and i look at archives
list mails, why not to fix this bug forever? it happened also for new
accounts (not tested)...
Reset form was fixed a couple of years ago. 100% of those mails about
users trying wrong logins.
