Hi
Well I think you should not use the FC2 rpms in FC3 I will install FC3 tomrrow and make 1.2.1 rpms for FC3 you can try them when they are ready.
Cheers Johnny

Hi!
I upgraded Gnomemeeting to v1.2.1 from fc2 rpm packages in < http://snapshots.seconix.com/redhat/ > My system is Fedora Core 3 (FC3).
At first, thanks for making the snapshot rpm's.
The RPM packages were not GPG signed, which would be good practise and wouldn't take too much time (few seconds) more to build. Please.
In FC3, to install the provided gm rpm pacakges, I had to uninstall these packages to install the rpm packages:
evolution, openh323, gnomemeeting, evolution-webcal, gaim
I installed these: gnomemeeting-1.2.1-1.i386.rpm openh323-1.15.3-1.i386.rpm gnomemeeting-debuginfo-1.2.1-1.i386.rpm openh323-debuginfo-1.15.3-1.i386.rpm howl-0.9.7-1.i386.rpm openh323-devel-1.15.3-1.i386.rpm howl-debuginfo-0.9.7-1.i386.rpm pwlib-1.8.4-1.i386.rpm howl-devel-0.9.7-1.i386.rpm pwlib-debuginfo-1.8.4-1.i386.rpm howl-libs-0.9.7-1.i386.rpm pwlib-devel-1.8.4-1.i386.rpm
FC3's libsoup-2.2.1 and evolution-data-server-1.0.2 were newer than those which johnny provides, so I didn't downgrade those.
Then: $ ldd `which gnomemeeting`|grep 'not found' libebook.so.7 => not found liblber.so.2 => not found libldap.so.2 => not found libhowl-0.9.6.so.1 => not found libldap.so.2 => not found libldap_r.so.2 => not found liblber.so.2 => not found libldap.so.2 => not found libldap_r.so.2 => not found liblber.so.2 => not found
I created /etc/ld.so.conf.d/gnomemeeting.conf which has a line "/usr/local/lib/gnomemeeting-1.2.1" in /usr/local/lib/gnomemeeting-1.2.1: libeboook.so.7 -> ../../../lib/libebook.so (fc3 evolution-data-server-1.0.2-3) libhowl-0.9.6.so.1 -> ../../../lib/libhowl.so (fc3 howl-0.9.7-1) liblber.so.2 -> ../../../lib/liblber.so (fc3 openldap-2.2.13-2) libldap_r.so.2 -> ../../../lib/libldap_r.so (fc3 openldap-2.2.13-2) libldap.so.2 -> ../../../lib/libldap.so (fc3 openldap-2.2.13-2)
(Also had to make /usr/local/lib/old_rpms/, add it to ld.so.conf.d and make a softlink from libhowl-0.9.7.so.1 to libhowl-0.9.6.so.1 for gconf-editor to work.)
When starting gnomemeeting, it complained: GnomeMeeting got an invalid value for the GConf key "/apps/gnomemeeting/general/gconf_test_age"
so I had to do: gnomemeeting-config-tool --clean
Then gnomemeeting started, and seem to work otherwise but address book is not working. It gives these: (gnomemeeting:2704): libebook-WARNING **: e_book_construct: Could not obtain a handle to the Personal Addressbook Server with IID `OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_DataServer_BookFactory:1.0'
I guess it is because missing or incompatible evolution packages?
I reinstalled fc3 evolution-2.0.2-3, and fc3 evolution-webcal-1.0.10-1 ..but that didn't change anything.
What is this evolution-data-server-0.0.94.1-1.i386.rpm johnny is offering? Is FC3's evolution-data-server-1.0.2-3 incompatible?
Is this version I installed SIP compatible now?
