In Gnomemeeting faq i found the ports: > 389,522,1503, 1720,1731,30000-30010,5000-5016,5020-5023 to work with
I don't know where 389, 522, 1503 come from. Certainly not from the GnomeMeeting FAQ. You can check the ports used by GnomeMeeting 0.98.5 using gconf-editor because I don't remember them. > Gnomemeeting. Then i use Ethereal, while running Gnomemeeting it shows > me requests to ports: 4979,14103,1884,33162,33163. Now i go to a friend > and do a portscan at my pc with running Gnomemeeting, the result was all > these ports was closed, only port 1720 was open. Is that right? > Only 1720 is in listening mode. The other ones are source ports. I have a question for you : do you really want to make PC-To-Phone calls, or do you really want to use Quicknet hardware? Because if you only need to do PC-To-Phone calls, you can use GnomeMeeting 1.2.1 on the latest Mandrake without the need for Quicknet hardware. -- _ Damien Sandras (o- GnomeMeeting: http://www.gnomemeeting.org/ //\ FOSDEM 2005 : http://www.fosdem.org v_/_ H.323 phone : callto:ils.seconix.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ GnomeMeeting-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnomemeeting-list
