Hello again,
This time I compiled gnomemeeting after a configure like that :
 ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/garnome --libdir=/usr/local/garnome/lib
--enable-static=yes --enable-dynamic=no

The resulting executable seems in fact to be staticaly linked (it's biger)

Now when I run /usr/local/garnome/bin/gnomemeeting, it uses
/usr/local/garnome/libexec/gconfd-2, as it should If i guess rigth.

But the problem is always appening :
Nine or ten popups :
"An error has happened in the configuration backend.
Maybe some of your settings won't be saved."
Then it hangs ...

So, do you think it's still a problem of PATHs?
