Thanks Killian for your patience and help. I will put a "how to" thread right now on Ubuntu breezy forum , so that other "newbie end users" like me can use and support Ekiga.
There were some discussions about the promotion of Ekiga. I saw Ekiga promoted in the french "http://www.pcinpact.com";... that's a good start! I will try to suggest to http://www.presence-pc.com too.
