You should never rename archives either. And when you 'recreate' project, you must not use a name you have used before. Since this is such a common request/problem, I suggest that people create experimental archives named after the date/time for playing around. Only when you are vaguely happy with your source, should you merge/replay it into another permanent archive, and prune the logs of the experiment archive. Then and only then can you delete the experimental archive. This is particularly important for tutorials.
