I've written a patch that makes many commands consistant in their UI
wrt revision lists. It's documented here:

I'd like to add this -f option to the unified UI. My feeling is that
it never harms to show the full version (unless you have a very long
version name and a very small screen), so, we can just drop this -f
everywhere.

Perhaps we should have a --short option and use "full" as the default?
