Anyway, converting various Emacs packages looks like a fair amount of
work. So I thought I'd see what other folks think before attempting
it. So far the results aren't encouraging :}
If it is the right thing to do, we can get it done.
The question now is whether it is right.
If I get time, I will give it a try and tell you, Tom, what I
think of it. Alas, I do not have Gnome installed here, I hope
this is not something mandatory to use keyring.el.
