i think jason was indicating, as might normally be done in the future, that someone else representing GNU would gather that information and post it to [email protected] on behalf of the new distro to begin the community evaluation phase - only in this case he was interjecting immediately, vouching that in this case, the distro is already know to be a valid candidate and needs no further scrutiny at this level
