Red Hat: From Open Source Champion to Controversial Moves:
Red Hat was one of the greatest companies. It is true that they had a little rebelliousness, but we cannot deny that they were the largest contributor to open source. They might have been the open source company in the first place. Everything was beautiful despite the differences. However, after being acquired by IBM, everything started to change. CentOS was killed, and although it was bad, it was legal and not in violation of the GPL license. The community created alternatives from Red Hat's source code, but it didn't last long. Red Hat ignited the drama once again. They made the source code exclusive to their subscribers, and anyone distributing it had their subscription revoked. It's a backstabbing move, to be honest.
