R is also very clearly in that category.

About flathub, applications also depend on other flatpaks runtimes like
org.kde.Platform.

Are these "runtime" libraries 100% free and can they be rebuilt on top
of FSDG compliant distributions without any dependencies on nonfree
distros? Or do software like Emacs on flathub[1] ship their own
dependencies?
