[True statement]: [false statement] A different license is allowed for the derivative. The copyright on the original is still in force, and to comply with the license the derivative must include the BSD license. But that license only covers the original, not the derivative. Two copyrights, two licenses. Your posts are obscuring the key difference between the BSD license and the GPL.
