No. It is an artificial government granted temporary monopoly over a work. This right can be bought or sold, inherited, licensed or otherwise transferred. But it is not property. If it was property it would not be temporary, and the government would have no right to define an expiry date, or else we would be talking of a totalitarian government. Rui
