I have installed gcc4.1.1 compiler on Linux 2.6..5-7. When I compile my application with the compiler options -fstack-protector -Wstack-protector, I get the following error hidden symbol `__stack_chk_fail_local' in /usr/local/sfw/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.1.1/../../../libssp_nonshared .a(libssp_nonshared_la-ssp-local.o) is referenced by DSO Does anyone know the fix without removing the compiler options ? Pls reply if possible. Its blocking my work.
