Professor Beth Noveck, New York Law School, will talk about Open Review and the Future of Patent Quality. Attached are two papers, "Peer to Patent": Collective Intelligence, Open Review, and Patent Reform, and Wiki-Government. The first is a law review piece about the impact of information deficit on the quality of issued patents. Wiki Government is a short policy piece about the benefits of open government, drawing on Peer to Patent as a model. Please RSVP if you wish to attend the lecture and/or (subject to availability) dinner afterwards with a small group including the speaker.
