No. A lawsuit is the culmination of much legal action that takes
place beforehand.

verify their client's had any registered copyrights.

Because the SFLC lawyers are too incompetent to understand that the
GPL is legally unenforceable.


Presumably because Verizon was the public face for the distribution of the software.
