It shows that the court utterly ignored GPL's "automatic termination" and Moglen's "not a contract" lunacy. The decision contains nothing to back your claim that "the terms of the GPL are thoroughly legal". There was no holding that "the terms of the GPL are thoroughly legal" -- it was not necessary to rule on invalidity of the GPL 2b because the court handed a defeat to MySQL on other grounds (other than invalidity/unenforceability of the GPL 2b). regards, alexander. -- http://gng.z505.com/index.htm (GNG is a derecursive recursive derecursion which pwns GNU since it can be infinitely looped as GNGNGNGNG...NGNGNG... and can be said backwards too, whereas GNU cannot.) _______________________________________________ gnu-misc-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnu-misc-discuss
