Well, other two thoughts on mudela:

1. It can be usefull sometimes instead of typing:
        c8. c16 c4 c2
type instead:
        c8. 16 4 2
especially in RhythmicStaff.

2. On some melodies it can be worth to implement kinda \example { blah-blah }
command, where blah-blah is rhythm. And until some digit encountered, all notes 
could be formatted as blah-blah says. Or short this ride even more ( &..& or *..*)

P.S. Staff.TimeSignatureStyle = C crashes pl33 then \time = 3/4.
